Pat and Gary Nebel
Where the average visitor might simply appreciate the scenery, photographers Pat and Gary Nebel are absorbed in the details of the smallest creatures, the tiniest flowers and the faintest hints of morning dew they encounter at Charlotte County's Babcock-Webb Wildlife Management Area. They captured these natural wonders in “Wild at Heart” ( p. 88 ). “Every day is an exciting new experience — you never know what you'll see,” Pat says. Their work has been published in Sarasota magazine and National Geographic Adventure magazine.
